Summary
Altruist’s software suite helps Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) manage their business and deliver better outcomes to their clients. By streamlining account opening, funding, and investment management processes, Altruist has created a set of digital tools that make it economically feasible for RIAs to offer their services to previously underserved communities.
As a senior member of the design team, I was responsible for building out the creative assets for Altruist's acquisition funnel. This included development and delivery of digital marketing campaigns, lead magnets, webinars and landing pages; redesigning the company's corporate website, product illustrations, and case studies; and the creation of investment model factsheets, quarterly reports, and client facing brand assets. Implementation of my designs led to a 14% increase in landing page conversions and a 22% increase in demo requests on altruist.com.
In Q3 2023, our marketing and design teams collectively generated $4.8B in open opportunities, $1.7B of which was closed won.

Tom is open and transparent with feedback which fosters an environment of constant improvement. His direct communication style helps decrease confusion and gets the team to move faster especially when working with a larger team with multiple people giving input.
Tom consistently shows up and delivers high quality end products. The website revamp was on a very short timeline and required the design of completely different pages and templates from what had previously existed. He masterfully presented several paths for the team to consider. Taking feedback and input from everyone he was able to iterate quickly and get the team to the finish line on time.
He is always one of the first to raise his hand to help on ad hoc requests while keeping other larger projects moving forward. The brand design team is small and supporting a large organization so grit is a requirement. Tom consistently rises to the occasion when there is a design challenge or a design fire that needs to be put out.
